Are you looking to add an additional meta tag to a page in the WEO Platform? Then you've come to the right place! In this article you'll learn how to do exactly that. You can learn more about what can be used as Meta Tags Here. These will be for meta tags beyond the standard description and keywords. An example of a meta tag that could be added is <meta name="author" content="Dr. Good Doctor">.
1. Login to the WEO Platform. If you've already logged in and navigated away from the Main Page, navigate back to the Main Page.
2. You will now see the Main Page in the Platform. On this page, front and center, is a section called Your Services. Click on the icon link labeled Website.
3. Scroll through the available page options and find the page you would like to edit. Once you find the correct page, click on the Edit button on the right-hand side under Actions.
4. The Edit Webpage page will load. Scroll to the SEO Information for Webpage section at the bottom of the page. Here you will see the four buttons and their corresponding values. Click on the Edit HTML Meta Tags button.
5. A new page will load with a single Edit Additional Webpage-specific Meta Tags field. Enter the additional meta tag for the page. Click Save.
6. Your changes have been saved at this point and you can now click the Done button to return to the Edit Webpage page from Step 4.
7. You should now see the text you entered in the box next to the Edit HTML Meta Tags button. The WEO Platform will change the angle brackets (<>) into HTML code and will render as expected.
8. You are now all set to move on to another edit. You can always check the source code to see if the edit has been saved and recached on the site.
9. If you do not see the edit, you made need to force cache the page or the site in order for the edit to show up on the webpage.
