Do you have email hosting with WEO Media and are you constantly finding important emails in your Junk or Spam folder? Then it's a good idea to consider adding an email address or domain to your Safelist.
What is a Safelist / Safelisting:
Safelisting an address creates a rule that moves any message flagged as spam from the address you safelisted to the Inbox so that you do not miss the message. You can safelist a single email address, an entire domain, or a specific IP address. A safelist has also been called a whitelist in the past, and you still might see this term used interchangeably.
Steps to Safelist an Email Address or Domain in the Rackspace Email webmail interface (often shortened to just Webmail):
2. Click on your email address in the upper-right corner and select Settings from the menu.
3. A pop-up box will appear. Click Spam Settings on the left-hand side of the pop-up box and then click the Safelist tab at the top of the right-hand side of the window.
4. In the Safelisted Domains & Email Addresses section, click the Add button.
5. A second pop-up box will appear. When prompted to Add Safelisted Domain or Email Address, enter the domain or email address you want to safelist in the field under Enter a domain or email address and then click Add. If you have trouble receiving emails from WEO Media, you can simply safelist our domain by entering @weomedia.com. If you are having trouble just receiving Request Appointment Forms, you can simply add info@weomedia.com, though adding the domain is just as simple and casts a wider net.
6. Confirm that the address now displays in the box under Safelisted Domains & Email Addresses and click the Save button.
7. That's it, your changes have now been saved and all emails from WEO Media should now appear in your Inbox. You can of course do this for other important email addresses and domains.
Additional Notes:
Note that we do not support the use of any Email Client, such as Microsoft Outlook, Google Mail Client, or Mozilla Thunderbird. If you need help with an issue arising from the use of one of these email clients, you will need to reach out to your local IT person who help you set up the email client.
